The Bluetooth calling feature on the Fire-Boltt AI smartwatch isn’t very polished. And hence, you may have trouble while trying to make it work. Here are some easy methods to help you make and receive calls on the Fire-Boltt AI.
Method 1- Do the Initial Pairing Correctly
If you are using the watch for the first time, you have to connect the watch via Bluetooth to your phone. The calling feature will only work if the watch is connected to the phone.
Step 1: Open the SMART-TIME PRO app.
Step 2: Click on the Device section and choose Add Device.
Step 3: Select the watch model number, i.e., BSW01. Confirm pairing on the watch.
Step 4: After pairing, it will show a popup to pair the watch via Bluetooth. Click on the Pair button.
Method 2- Manually Pair the Watch via Bluetooth
If you were not able to pair the watch via Bluetooth in the first time connection, you can do it manually using the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Open the Settings > Bluetooth on your phone.
Step 2: Find the watch Bluetooth name, i.e., BT3.0 and click it.
Step 3: Click on the Pair button to pair it successfully.
Method 3- Force Connect Bluetooth Using Calling Option in Watch
With the above two steps, you may face a strange issue wherein the watch won’t appear at all in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Even if it does, it will take ages to pair. To resolve the problem:
Step 1: Swipe up on the watch home screen and scroll down.
Step 2: Click on the Dial button. It will now show “Turning on Bluetooth 3.0.”
Step 3: Now, check the list of available Bluetooth devices on your phone. Tap BT 3.0 and it should pair instantly.
You can now make calls through the watch by going to the dialer. However, make sure your phone is connected and well within the Bluetooth range.
Bonus- Allow Call Permissions for FireBoltt App
If you are still having problems with the Bluetooth calling feature on the Fire-Boltt AI smartwatch, you should check and allow the call permissions to the companion app.
Step 1: Open Settings on your phone. Go to the Apps section.
Step 2: From the list of installed apps, select the SMART-TIME PRO app.
Step 3: Click on the Permissions button.
Step 4: Allow the permissions for Call Logs, Contacts, and Phone.
